Processing Fee

The processing fee is the fee collected by the lending institution when processing the loan request. The processing fee is usually incurred when the lender assesses the documents presented by the borrower and evaluates their level of risk. The processing fee can either be paid in advance before the disbursement of the loan or deducted from the loan proceeds.
